After completing the highest grossing tour of all time, U2 has once more topped the list of Ireland’s wealthiest entertainers.
Bono, Larry, Adam and the Edge are collectively worth over €500m, according to The Sunday Times 2011 Irish rich list.
The list, which will be published in full this weekend, shows very little movement amongst the top 10, with Bob Geldof the only new member.
The newspaper also published a combined British and Irish list, which includes the likes of Elton John and Simon Cowell.
Cowell – the mastermind behind reality music television – is now worth £200m, jumping to sixth in the millionaires’ list.
The Irish Entertainment Rich List:
1. U2 (+€500m)
2. Michael Flatley (€237m)
3. Denis and Caroline Desmond, concert promoters (€205m)
4. Enya (€94m)
5. Moya Doherty and John Colgan, Riverdance (€80m)
6. Van Morrison (€56m)
7. Bob Geldof (€35m)
7. Chris De Burgh (€35m)
7. Westlife (€35m)
